Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Malham for an experienced furniture installer. The job centers on fitting custom closets, cabinets, and related furniture systems according to design drawings and manufacturer instructions. The role requires accurate measurement, preparation of installation areas, assembly of parts, and secure, precise fitting. The installer will also interact with clients at the worksite, make minor adjustments when needed, keep the area tidy and safe, and work with the design and operations teams to complete projects on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Install custom closets, cabinets, and similar furniture products according to approved plans and specifications.
- Study technical drawings and layouts to carry out installation work correctly.
- Measure, prepare, cut, and assemble materials with accuracy.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ensure fittings are aligned properly, secure, and finished to a high standard.
- Speak with clients on site, answer basic questions, and make small adjustments where required.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe during and after installation.
- Check completed work for quality and report any defects, shortages, or material requirements.
- Coordinate with design and operations staff to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Strong carpentry and technical installation skills, including measuring, cutting, and assembling wood or composite materials.
- Prior experience installing furniture, closets, or cabinetry and reading plans or technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate alignment, secure fixing, and a polished final result.
- Good communication and customer service skills for on-site interaction with clients.
- Ability to perform physical work such as lifting, standing, bending, and working in residential or commercial settings.
- Basic troubleshooting ability to manage minor on-site issues and layout challenges safely.
- Reliability for on-site work in Malham and the ability to manage time well and coordinate with the team.
- Previous experience in joinery, interior fit-out, or similar trades is an advantage; vocational carpentry or installation training is also preferred.
- Commitment to workplace safety practices and correct use of personal protective equipment.
Compensation and Benefits
The package includes a salary of SAR 2,000 plus a food allowance of SAR 200, bringing total monthly compensation to SAR 2,200. Additional benefits include Iqama transfer after 6 months, medical coverage, shared accommodation, and 2 months of paid leave after 2 years of service.
