Role Summary

The Executive Vice President of Strategy Execution will own the design and delivery of the company’s overall strategy. The role is responsible for turning long-term plans into measurable execution across customer growth, business expansion, product alignment, and operational improvement.

This position is centered on breaking strategy into actionable plans, coordinating execution across functions, and making sure strategic initiatives produce business results. It also focuses on maintaining a closed-loop system for tracking implementation and converting corporate strategy into practical operating mechanisms and growth outcomes.

This role generally reports to the CEO, COO, or CRO.

Strategy Formulation and Execution

Create the company-wide strategic framework and the roadmap for execution.

Translate long-term direction into annual and quarterly goals.

Set up systems to track strategy execution and review performance.

Promote strategic alignment across departments and improve resource coordination.

Ensure the strategy remains tightly connected to business growth objectives.

Business Growth and Target Delivery

Own key growth indicators such as revenue, customer acquisition, and market share.

Drive expansion and performance improvement across major business lines.

Strengthen operational efficiency and better use of resources.

Support initiatives that scale revenue and the organization overall.

Track, assess, and improve progress against core business KPIs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Execution Systems

Build effective collaboration routines across Product, Sales, Operations, Technology, and other teams.

Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives and ensure plans are implemented effectively.

Improve execution processes and organizational operating rhythms.

Remove blockers that slow down important projects.

Increase the organization’s speed, responsiveness, and overall execution strength.

Strategic Project Leadership

Manage company-wide strategic programs and major business initiatives.

Ensure important projects are completed on time and achieve their intended outcomes.

Oversee project risk, prioritization, and resource allocation.

Maintain a clear system for ranking and managing strategic work.

Keep all strategic initiatives aligned with the company’s broader business goals.

Data-Driven Decision Support

Set up an analytics approach that supports strategy execution.

Monitor the performance of key business and strategic metrics.

Analyze data related to growth progress and execution effectiveness.

Build visual management tools to support strategic oversight.

Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO and senior leadership team.
