Overview
We seek a visionary Vice President of Product who is focused on driving outcomes and innovation, particularly in AI-powered solutions. This executive role encompasses leading product strategy and roadmap delivery, championing AI initiatives, and holding direct profit and loss accountability for key product lines. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, the VP will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to deliver distinctive, high-impact products at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an ambitious product vision that aligns with organizational growth targets, key metrics, and innovation objectives.
- Manage long-term planning to balance cornerstone ARR-generating products with emerging AI-driven solutions.
- Guide evolution of the platform ensuring it is scalable, resilient, and capable of rapidly delivering value to customers.
- Represent product strategy externally through industry presentations and thought leadership initiatives in collaboration with marketing.
- Lead technically complex product decisions involving API design, platform infrastructure, and compliance with accessibility standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to assess build versus buy versus partner options and define technical requirements ensuring product feasibility and robust architecture.
- Translate intricate technical constraints and opportunities into comprehensive product strategies that resonate with customers.
- Maintain oversight of product execution by managing operating rhythms, holding teams accountable, and proactively mitigating risks.
- Conduct routine forecasting, business reviews, and planning cycles for assigned product lines to ensure operational discipline.
- Identify and spearhead process automation efforts both internally and in customer workflows, enhancing platform delivery and scaling compliance lifecycle processes.
- Approach internal operational efficiency challenges with the rigor of product management, applying the same discipline to internal tools and workflows as to external products.
- Exercise full P&L ownership including pricing, margin optimization, and allocation of resources across the product portfolio.
- Make decisions grounded in data to prioritize investments in new capabilities, compliance infrastructure, and advanced solutions such as headless and agentic offerings.
- Lead AI-driven transformation projects, collaborating with the AI Innovation lead to rapidly experiment, validate, and launch AI-enabled features.
- Align go-to-market strategies with marketing, sales, and customer success to boost product adoption, customer retention, and revenue growth.
- Ensure clear communication and integration of product positioning and differentiators throughout revenue-driven processes.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performance product management team dedicated to measurable results, customer focus, and empowerment.
- Foster collaboration and alignment across all value streams, instilling clear accountability at all organizational levels.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in product management within SaaS or B2B technology sectors, including at least 5 years in an executive role.
- Strong technical expertise with the ability to participate credibly in architectural discussions related to APIs, platform infrastructure, and accessibility standards; prior engineering experience or exposure to highly technical product environments preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing product line P&L and achieving revenue growth through strategic portfolio management.
- Experience building API-first products and familiarity with AI, machine learning, and automation technologies highly desirable.
- Proven ability to introduce innovative products while ensuring steady ARR growth and stability in core offerings.
- Excellent leadership skills with capability of influencing cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders, including board-level interactions.
- Strong analytical and strategic decision-making skills grounded in a metrics-driven approach to product development.
