Executive - Assurance and Operational Excellence

Role overview

This role sits within the Quality and Operational Excellence function and focuses on reviewing key finance and people-related processes, strengthening controls, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The team is responsible for forensic-style checks, management reporting, control audits, ISO-related work, and process automation efforts.

Core work

• Examine payroll and employee reimbursement processes through control testing, fraud checks, transaction-level audits, and efficiency-focused improvements.
• Review accounts payable activities, including transaction audits, control testing, and opportunities to improve process efficiency.
• Create dashboards for analysis, perform MIS reviews, and spot exceptions in the data.
• Take part in business process studies and continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare and circulate monthly and quarterly MIS reports for Finance & Accounts and HR leadership.

Additional responsibilities

• Support process improvement initiatives by using tools such as robotic process automation and artificial intelligence where relevant.
• Contribute to ISO certification efforts and internal/external audit activities.

Team focus

The broader team handles forensic investigations related to payroll, employee benefits, and vendor payments, prepares MIS for internal controls, performs analytics for internal control stakeholders, conducts periodic control audits, manages ISO certification work, and drives business process improvement and automation.
