About the Role
A prestigious finance company located in the New York City area is looking to hire an administrative assistant dedicated to supporting the Senior Vice President. Responsibilities
- Manage expense reports and ensure accuracy.
- Oversee and coordinate calendar appointments effectively.
- Arrange travel plans and logistics.
- Screen and manage phone calls as a gatekeeper.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Input contacts and activities into Salesforce system.
- Collaborate effectively as a team member with colleagues and clients across all organizational levels.
- Provide assistance to other teams and administrative personnel as necessary.
- Carry out additional related duties as assigned.
- Handle ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of prior administrative assistant experience, preferably within corporate, professional services, or financial services sectors.
- High attention to detail complemented by strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities with a positive, proactive approach.
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Demonstrated sound business judgment when addressing needs of internal and external clients.
- Enthusiastic willingness to assist team members wherever needed.
