Role overview

Plaid is hiring an Executive Assistant to support Product and Engineering leadership. In this role, you will help improve team productivity and operational flow by managing priorities, coordinating logistics, and handling administrative work with care and discretion. The position suits someone who is highly organized, adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll do

  • Deliver executive and administrative support to 3 to 4 Product and Engineering leaders or teams.
  • Own complex scheduling, calendar coordination, and day-to-day logistics for leadership.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
  • Set up meetings, track agendas, and make sure follow-up actions are shared and completed.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination, including team communications, all-hands preparation, and internal event logistics.
  • Arrange detailed travel plans and handle related coordination end to end.
  • Manage onsite planning, vendor coordination, and execution for team gatherings and events.
  • Oversee budgets and process expenses across the supported teams.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in administrative support or project coordination, ideally in a fast-paced technology or high-growth company.
  • Background supporting Directors, Senior Managers, or comparable senior leaders.
  • Strong organizational habits, attention to detail, and a clear sense of accountability.
  • A resourceful self-starter who can act quickly, handle uncertainty, and make sound decisions on the fly.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and anticipate what others need before being asked.
  • Strong emotional intelligence along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build dependable working relationships and provide steady support across teams.

Compensation and benefits

The role may include additional compensation in the form of equity and/or commission, depending on the position offered. Plaid offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan. Compensation is determined by factors such as role scope, responsibilities, experience, skills, and location, and benefits may change over time in line with applicable plans. The stated salary range is $96K to $108K.
