Role overview

The BizOps team tackles the company’s most important business challenges through a small, high-impact, low-ego team of broad-based problem solvers. In this role, you will work closely with leaders across Product and GTM on strategic and operational work that has measurable impact on customers, partners, and the company’s P&L. Your work will help shape how Plaid runs across its biggest revenue streams and most important partnerships, with ownership spanning analysis, business rhythms, and cross-functional projects involving Product, GTM, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Partnerships. This is intended as a springboard role, with former team members moving into leadership positions in Product, GTM, and operations at Plaid. Success in this position requires strong analytical thinking, a structured approach to problem solving, and comfort working through ambiguity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategic and operational agenda for a Product or GTM organization, including the related cross-functional initiatives.
• Own core operating processes such as monthly business reviews, quarterly business reviews, OKRs, KPIs, and executive reporting, and improve them as the company grows.
• Create dashboards, metrics, and performance measures that help leadership track progress and make informed decisions.
• Collaborate on product strategy topics such as pricing, commercialization, and launch or expansion go-to-market plans for new and existing products.
• Use AI tools and agents as part of your everyday workflow to improve speed and impact.

Qualifications

• 6 to 11 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or operational roles such as BizOps, Strategy & Ops, or Finance.
• Strong ability to work with limited structure, prioritize effectively, and operate independently.
• Proven skill in building relationships across levels and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
• Exposure to AI tools and agents for workflow acceleration is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Tableau is preferred.
• Background in fintech, payments, or a fast-growing SaaS environment is preferred.

Compensation and benefits

The compensation range for this position is $162,000 to $237,000. Pay is determined by factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, skills, and location, and may change over time. Additional compensation may also be offered in the form of equity and/or commission, depending on the position. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.
