In this role, you will act as the main contact for your accounts, help them integrate Plaid, support adoption and expansion, and work to increase customer value and revenue over time. The position calls for someone who can understand customer goals, influence stakeholders from technical teams to executives, and solve problems with a practical, solutions-first mindset.
What You Will Do
- Take ownership of the full relationship for a portfolio of customers within Plaid’s fastest-growing segment.
- Develop trusted partnerships with C-suite leaders and product teams to protect and grow revenue.
- Manage revenue goals by spotting upsell opportunities and leading renewal negotiations.
- Guide customers through integration and launch on the Plaid platform.
- Work across teams such as Sales, Risk, Legal, Finance, Commercial, Marketing, and Business Operations to resolve complex customer issues.
What You Need
- 2 to 4 years of experience in relationship management and sales.
- Strong customer empathy and a genuine commitment to helping customers succeed.
- Willingness to learn the technical details of Plaid’s APIs and product stack.
- Some exposure to financial services and technical products, along with strong curiosity.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where processes and tools may need to be built or improved.
- Ability to connect with different types of stakeholders and build durable business relationships.
- Solid sales skills, especially in negotiation and value-based selling.
- Strong executive-level written and verbal communication.
- Capability to use internal and external relationships effectively to drive outcomes.
- Experience with retention strategies and preventing customer churn.
