Job description
Overview
This role requires proactively assisting the CEO in executing his vision for the Domestic Textiles Business by managing business performance reviews, planning and budgeting, financial assessments of capital projects, and strategic proposals. Key responsibilities include analyzing data to identify trends, developing scenario plans, and advising the CEO to select optimal directions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate key reviews including BH Officer, BRC & PNB, UH/SBU Head, Monthly CEO, and Board Meetings.
- Monitor daily Key Value Drivers (KVDs) to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Conduct competitor assessments including SWOT, market segmentation, and financial benchmarking.
- Compile and track action items from the Executive Committee (ExCom).
- Oversee progress on the DT 2.0 Transformation Project with AT Kearney.
- Facilitate Apex Committee meetings and follow up on outcomes.
- Collaborate with Department and Function Heads to drive initiatives and projects.
- Standardize marketing Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting.
- Support CEO-led CII activities, sustainability goals, and strategic business reviews ensuring timely completion of initiatives.
- Manage external communications with industry bodies and academic institutions to maintain a positive business environment.
- Assist the strategy and new projects team as needed.
Context and Challenges
- Engage and align with diverse stakeholders to boost performance across three unique business units.
- Drive growth plans with robust follow-up and ensure closure of initiatives.
- Standardize marketing MIS formats for effective review meetings.
- Facilitate decision-making by providing thorough analysis and operational insights.
- Ensure projects are executed within approved budgets and timelines.
- Manage multiple priorities amidst resource constraints while supporting both traditional and evolving business outlooks.
- Handle the complexity of interacting daily with the CEO, often acting as intermediary for communication and decision relay.
- Maintain clear boundaries of authority while representing the CEO's decisions and managing expectations of being highly anticipatory of the CEO's needs.

- Create and modify reporting formats and presentations for executive and board meetings.
- Standardize marketing processes and communication plans to enhance operational efficiency.
- Engage deeply in planning and budgeting cycles, coordinating inputs from three business units.
- Track daily operational data and ensure compliance with budgetary and business expectations.
- Assist with preparation and review of capacity expansion proposals, including managing critical project initiatives.
- Provide ongoing support on special projects and external engagements as delegated by the CEO.
