Role overview
This is an opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Head of Investor Relations and the Chief Operating Officer at a boutique hedge fund in Mayfair. The position is office-based from Monday to Friday and sits close to senior decision-makers, investors, and external partners in a fast-moving, high-performance environment.
The role is broad and practical, covering investor relations, operations, and wider business support. It will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, working at pace, and ensuring priorities are handled smoothly and accurately.
Key responsibilities
- Manage complex diaries and overflowing inboxes across several time zones.
- Arrange global travel, investor roadshows, meetings, and event logistics.
- Handle expenses, reconcile corporate card statements, and liaise with finance teams.
- Keep CRM records, investor information, and reporting materials up to date and improved.
- Assist with investor communications, meeting coordination, and presentation preparation.
- Serve as a central contact for executives, investors, and outside stakeholders.
- Provide operational assistance and support on projects across the organisation.
About you
The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of Executive Assistant experience gained in hedge funds, asset management, private equity, investment banking, or broader financial services. Strong organisation, diary management, and travel coordination skills are essential, along with comfort using CRM systems such as Salesforce, DealCloud, Dynamo, or HubSpot.
Advanced Microsoft Office capability is required. You should be proactive, flexible, commercially minded, and able to offer practical solutions. Discretion, professionalism, and confidence when dealing with senior stakeholders are also important.
