Job Overview

As an Executive - Accounts, you will support the Finance department by managing diverse financial activities and maintaining precise financial records for entities in Southeast Asia. Working in close coordination with the Operations Controller (SEA), you will help guarantee smooth financial workflows and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial documentation including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end journal entries and reporting.
  • Support monthly project accounting and reporting, assisting the Finance Manager in tracking ongoing projects accurately.
  • Manage all accounts receivable functions such as invoicing and receipts; handle intercompany transactions including invoicing, loans, and recharge processing; oversee issuance and renewal of SBLC and bank guarantees.
  • Assist with statutory audits by liaising with auditors to facilitate smooth audit completion and compliance with audit requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all statutory filing and compliance obligations including tax and audit-related matters.
  • Provide administrative support to enhance internal controls and streamline processes for local entities.
  • Complete monthly group reporting obligations for portfolio entities.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors and support the wider finance team as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent professional certifications such as ACCA or CA Singapore.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting or finance roles; experience in external auditing is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with SAP S4 Hana and advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders.
