Role Overview
The Exams Liaison acts as the main point of contact for all exam-related concerns and logistics at the campus, collaborating closely with the Assessment and Examinations Manager. This role involves ensuring that students and families receive clear communication about exams, maintaining precise documentation, and facilitating smooth exam operations throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the approachable contact for exam queries from students and their families.
- Effectively disseminate information regarding exam schedules, accommodations, and deadlines.
- Coordinate exam logistics with teachers, heads of departments, and campus administrative teams during exam periods.
- Assist with online proctoring arrangements and synchronize time zones.
- Audit exam registrations, paperwork, and student information for completeness and accuracy.
- Organize and support activities before and after exams, including briefings, result inquiries, and grade reviews.
- Facilitate internal examination cycles and manage coursework deadlines.
- Provide additional assistance during the three major annual exam series held in January, May/June, and October/November.
Candidate Profile
- Currently employed as a teacher at CGA’s Aoraki or Greenwich campus.
- Excellent organisational aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure, particularly during intensive exam periods.
- Strong communication skills when interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, documentation, and data management.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively across various departments and teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with IGCSE or A-Level exam administration is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Pearson Edexcel or Cambridge examination procedures is desirable.
- Experience supporting students requiring exam access arrangements considered beneficial.
