European Regional Business Manager - Geochemistry

Role Summary

The European Regional Business Manager will steer the Geochemistry segment across Europe, focusing on driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and delivering an exemplary customer journey. The position reports directly to the Global General Manager – Geochemistry with full responsibility for regional profit and loss, operational efficiency, and laboratory standards—while promoting a culture of safety and quality across all laboratories.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead commercial performance and operational success of the Geochemistry business throughout Europe.
• Manage and optimize regional financial outcomes, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop and implement the regional business strategy aligned with global objectives.
• Drive operational improvements to increase productivity, reduce turnaround time, and enhance customer service across laboratories.
• Standardize best practices while considering local market requirements and promote collaboration across the European lab network.
• Support and coordinate business development efforts and cultivate strategic partnerships with key customers and commercial stakeholders.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery by monitoring customer experience and responsiveness.
• Lead, coach, and engage multicultural laboratory teams, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusiveness, and high performance.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, championing risk management and a strong safety culture.
• Balance commercial growth ambitions with operational excellence to ensure sustainable success.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience overseeing multi-site operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing profit and loss responsibilities.
• Proven track record leading laboratory, manufacturing, or industrial multi-site operations across diverse geographical locations.
• Experience in enhancing operational efficiencies and performance.
• Strong commercial acumen and customer-facing skills.
• Experience working within multiple European countries.
• Ability to balance competing operational and commercial priorities effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Background in laboratory services or testing, inspection, and certification fields.
• Mining industry experience is advantageous but not required.
• Industrial operations and manufacturing exposure are a plus.
