Overview
This leadership role involves overseeing the Europe Private Banking platform to ensure consistent business performance and operational excellence across Ireland and broader EU markets. The focus includes delivering a secure, efficient operating environment, meeting regulatory requirements, and supporting growth ambitions of the bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the platform strategy to maintain a sustainable business operation supporting long-term expansion.
- Lead adaptation to evolving European regulatory frameworks, legal entity structures, and operating models, ensuring compliance and operational quality.
- Improve client, colleague, and business leader outcomes by optimizing platform efficiency to support front-office service delivery within a regulated environment.
- Enhance governance, controls, and regulatory oversight frameworks to maintain legal entity management and compliance.
- Collaborate with COO communities, governance teams, business leadership, and stakeholders to align on strategic objectives and deliver results.
- Bridge business and technology priorities to enable innovation, capability development, and readiness for future regulatory and market challenges.
Platform Management Accountabilities
- Own end-to-end platform processes, systems, and client journey management including business continuity and service recovery.
- Understand, interpret, and apply local and group regulatory standards.
- Drive platform strategy, championing innovative solutions to improve client experience, banker efficiency, and reduce regulatory risks.
- Use KPIs and data insights to evaluate platform effectiveness and track improvements.
- Manage platform performance reporting and representation in governance forums.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders including regulators, senior management, client-facing staff, and infrastructure partners.
- Provide coaching and support to enhance delivery quality among colleagues.
Director-Level Expectations

- Influence policy development, manage resources, budgeting, and strategic project consultation.
