About the Role
Join an iconic and rapidly expanding drinks brand based in London as their Head of Operations. This leadership position offers a competitive package up to GBP 100,000 and involves building a scalable operational framework to support aggressive growth. You will report directly to the executive leadership team, leading the entire operational cycle with a focus on supply chain, logistics, systems implementation, and continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement an operational strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Lead and mentor Supply Chain Managers and operational staff to build a high-performing team.
- Manage full supply chain operations including procurement, production scheduling, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
- Maintain and develop strategic partnerships with manufacturers, co-packers, third-party logistics providers, and key suppliers.
- Oversee ERP system deployment and optimization along with ongoing operational technologies.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives incorporating automation and AI to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Establish standardized, scalable processes, governance models, and best practices across operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators, budgets, and operational effectiveness; seek improvements in service, cost, and efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Sales, and Product teams to align operations with broader goals and new product introductions.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to boost operational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Identify operational risks and develop strong mitigation and business continuity plans.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive senior operations leadership in FMCG, preferably food or beverages sector.
- Proven track record scaling operations in a fast-growth environment.
- Experienced in managing and developing supply chain and operations teams.
- Strong expertise implementing ERP and driving digital business transformations.
- Deep understanding of complex supply chains, manufacturing relationships, and logistics management.
- Excellent commercial insight coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in leveraging data analytics, automation, and AI to elevate operational performance.
- Hands-on leadership approach with the ability to influence and drive change in a fast-paced setting.
