About the Role

ESPN Creative Studio is the in-house creative function within ESPN Marketing. The team develops advertising and promotional content across television, print, digital, and other platforms to support sports properties, shows, products, services, fan engagement, and external sponsors. This opportunity is slated to run from September through December 2026.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Help gather footage, conduct research, and draft scripts while building practical post-production experience for TV, radio, and social media tune-in campaigns.
  • Bring ideas and perspective into campaign planning conversations to help shape creative direction.
  • Work closely with writers, producers, and designers to support the creative team, contribute suggestions, and stay collaborative and eager to learn.

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant academic background in TV production and marketing, along with a clear interest in creative campaign work.
  • Strong creative writing ability and familiarity with developing concepts for advertising and promotional materials.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, plus strong attention to detail and presentation quality.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for professional and college sports.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Ability to stay organized and productive in a fast-moving environment while handling several tasks and deadlines at once.

Preferred Background

  • Interest in, or experience with, the creative side of sports marketing.
  • Familiarity with the ESPN brand.
  • Awareness of music and pop culture trends that can influence promotional production.
  • Understanding of major marketing channels such as TV, print, digital, and social media.

Education

Senior-year students are preferred. A background in Marketing, Sports Media, Writing, Film, or a related field is also preferred.

Eligibility and Program Requirements

  • Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class at the time of application, or currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College Program, International Program, or Culinary Program participants may work for only one continuous year, or 12 months, across any combination of internship or program roles.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • Unrestricted work authorization is required.

Additional Information

  • The role requires full availability Monday through Friday for the entire internship period, totaling 40 hours per week.
  • Housing in the New York City area must be arranged by the candidate for the duration of the internship.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
  • The pay rate for this position in New York City is $22.50 per hour.
