Role overview

This position supports environmental, safety, and health administration on the Ar Rjum project in Dhalm, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on coordinating ES&H training, awareness, reporting, and administrative systems that help the project strengthen safety performance and drive continual improvement.

The project is a greenfield gold development that includes three open-pit mines, waste dumps, an ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings facilities, and supporting infrastructure such as water, power, maintenance facilities, offices, and accommodation villages.

This opportunity is reserved for Saudi nationals.

Work location and setup

Work site: Dhalm. The role is based on a full-time office/project arrangement. Relocation is authorized for national camp placement.

Key duties

The specialist will help build and coordinate environmental, safety, and health processes, training, communication, reporting, and record management. The role also supports the use of corporate ESH software, including administrative ownership and training for team members.

Administrative and reporting scope

Responsibilities include collecting and organizing reporting data, preparing submissions for project, corporate, and statutory requirements, producing trend and performance analysis, maintaining confidential records, and keeping reports and archives organized for quick access.

Training and communication scope

The role supports classroom learning, instructor-led sessions, hands-on awareness activities, printed materials, and other communication methods. It also involves tailoring outreach to the workforce by considering risk, demographics, job types, language differences, and other project conditions.

System and process improvement

The position contributes to the ESH management system by helping maintain tools such as risk registers, legal registers, and stakeholder matrices, while also reviewing information from audits, incidents, and risk assessments to identify better controls, procedures, and mitigation measures.

Education and experience
