Job description

Role overview

A global technology company is working with a recruitment partner to bring on an Escalations Specialist for its Dublin operations team. This position is part of a critical worldwide function that helps protect users and preserve platform integrity at scale.

In this role, you will evaluate difficult and high-risk content cases that have been escalated through internal processes. You will combine policy knowledge with regional language and cultural understanding to reach accurate enforcement decisions, and you will serve as the go-to specialist for the assigned market.

What you'll do

  • Handle escalated and complex content reviews while meeting defined service-level expectations
  • Apply platform rules and enforcement standards consistently and with care
  • Use regional language fluency and cultural context to judge sensitive or unclear cases
  • Work closely with policy, legal, and operations teams to decide the right course of action
  • Keep decision quality and accuracy at a high standard
  • Direct cases beyond standard procedures to the correct stakeholders when needed
  • Remain current on policy updates, tools, and operational processes
  • Contribute to a 24/7 support environment, with occasional on-call coverage

Candidate profile

  • At least 3 years of experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, or a related operational role
  • Native or fluent English for the Australian market, along with strong regional language capability as relevant
  • Sound judgment and the ability to work through layered policy scenarios
  • Comfort working with sensitive, graphic, or potentially distressing material
  • Prior experience with queue-based work or moderation platforms is a strong advantage
  • Clear communication and effective teamwork skills
