Role Overview
Join the Community Experience group of a prominent global technology corporation as an Event Operations Specialist based in Dublin. This role offers the chance to manage and execute large-scale corporate events and community engagements in a lively, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the practical execution of onsite events, including overseeing contractors and event logistics management.
- Coordinate all aspects of venue setup such as audiovisual equipment, catering services, facilities, security measures, signage, and other necessary event components.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to guarantee seamless event delivery.
- Handle supplier management including obtaining quotes and assisting in event conceptualization and execution.
- Manage the processing and monitoring of event-related invoices, purchase orders, and procurement requests until payment completion.
- Support budget monitoring efforts and maintain accurate financial records related to events.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in delivering events hosting 400 or more participants.
- Demonstrated background in event operations or production within corporate, agency, hospitality, or event venue settings.
- Self-motivated with a practical, hands-on work style and capability to operate autonomously.
- Competent in managing budgets, invoices, supplier relations, and procurement workflows.
- Willingness to work evening hours occasionally to provide onsite support during significant events.
- Possession of a degree in Events Management, Communications, Business, or a related discipline is considered beneficial.
Additional Information
- Location: Dublin with a hybrid working arrangement requiring presence onsite three days per week.
- Contract duration: 6 months.
- Salary range: €71,000 to €80,000 per annum (minimum stated).
