Role Overview
We seek an ERP Implementation Regional Manufacturing Lead for North America to act as the primary liaison between the EU Business Unit and the Global Supply Chain project team. This role will ensure the new ERP system, such as SAP S4 Hana and related application layers (T&A, MES, PLC), supports local manufacturing needs while aligning with global standards. The position is a full-time contract expected to run until June 2027 with potential transition into a permanent role after project completion. This is a remote role based in the USA or Canada with no international relocation provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Business Unit's manufacturing domain (including QA and SHE) in global ERP discussions, ensuring accurate requirements are met.
- Conduct change impact assessments and devise delivery plans with risk mitigation strategies for the Business Unit.
- Collaborate with multiple domains (Order to Cash, Procurement, Finance, Manufacturing to Delivery, Plan to Finance, Data & Analytics, Integration, Deployment) for end-to-end process alignment.
- Partner with internal IT to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes in ERP.
- Support data migration and validation activities prior to ERP go-live, ensuring data accuracy.
- Identify automation opportunities to strive toward touchless manufacturing processes.
- Manage stakeholder relations between the Business Unit, Global Process Owners, and Supply Chain IT teams, facilitating smooth ERP rollouts.
- Create and maintain a Change Network across all Business Unit countries to encourage two-way communication and adoption of new processes.
- Engage in system testing, validate transactions and reporting, and recommend system enhancements.
- Assist in training initiatives and knowledge-sharing to empower employees for operating the new system.
- Monitor post-implementation process performance and advise on continuous improvements to meet business objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain Plan-Make-Logistics domain(s).
- Practical experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Exposure to ERP transformation projects with an emphasis on manufacturing process standardization considered a plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of order-to-deliver processes and capability to analyze complex large datasets.
- Strong analytical skills focused on continuous process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Proficient communication and stakeholder management skills with capacity to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to act proactively, take ownership, and drive deliverables to completion.
