Role overview
IDR is hiring an Epic Instructional Designer for a remote assignment with one of its leading clients. The position focuses on creating effective training solutions and learning experiences in an Epic-centered environment. You will work closely with key stakeholders to convert training requirements into clear, measurable deliverables and ensure work is completed on schedule.
What you will do
- Design, build, and improve instructional materials for training programs supported by Epic.
- Assess training needs to pinpoint challenges, set learning goals, and define deliverables and timelines.
- Develop web-based learning and eLearning assets that reflect adult learning principles and sound instructional practice.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to produce education content that aligns with business priorities and improves learning outcomes.
Required background
- At least 7 years of experience working with Epic in a relevant capacity.
- At least 7 years of experience in instructional design, including web-based and eLearning development.
- Hands-on experience with learning management systems and related tools, including Epic Master train environment (MST) build experience when Epic is the main supported platform.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory, learner motivation, and content development.
- Track record of using learning analytics and technology to improve the quality and measurable impact of training experiences.
Compensation and benefits
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $55 to $65 and includes a full benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, and more.
