About the Role

IDR, Inc. is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join a leading client for a remote position. This role is crucial for supporting key HR functions, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new employees, and maintaining accurate, audit-ready employment records. A significant part of the role involves managing pre-employment and credentialing documentation within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support for employee hiring, retention, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
  • Manage the post-offer process by gathering and verifying all necessary candidate information and documentation for employment, onboarding, and licensing.
  • Ensure the timely completion of employment verifications, reference checks, background screenings, and professional license verifications, adhering strictly to company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Streamline onboarding procedures, monitor the completion of pre-employment paperwork, and meticulously maintain employee records in designated files.
  • Assist with the credentialing of clinical staff by collecting, organizing, and auditing all required documentation to ensure continuous compliance.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting employee onboarding processes from the initial offer acceptance through the employee's first day.
  • Proven experience in coordinating background checks, employment verifications, drug screenings, and/or license/certification verifications.
  • Previous experience working within a healthcare environment or providing support for clinical staff credentialing is essential.
  • Proficiency in using ADP is required; candidates must clearly reflect this experience on their resumes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong ability to manage compliance-related documentation and maintain audit-ready records.
