Role Overview

This full-time, on-location position entails leading the development and enforcement of environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies tailored for offshore operations, ensuring alignment with both legal standards and company protocols. Responsibilities include risk evaluation, conducting audits and inspections, overseeing compliance, and spearheading investigations into incidents to determine causes and remedial actions. The manager will also be accountable for crafting and delivering EHS-focused training sessions, nurturing a culture of safety, advising operational and leadership teams on best practices, preparing detailed reports, keeping records up to date, and collaborating with various stakeholders to continuously elevate EHS standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A solid grounding in health and safety principles, with capability to establish and uphold safety procedures.
• Expert knowledge of environment, health, and safety management, including regulatory adherence, risk management, and environmental conservation within the oil & gas or EPC sectors.
• Proficiency in investigating accidents, reporting incidents, and performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Experience in developing and delivering training programs on safety awareness, safe working methods, and emergency responses.
• Possession of a bachelor’s degree in fields such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related disciplines; certifications like NEBOSH or IOSH are advantageous.
• Previous involvement in EHS roles in offshore oil and gas or heavy industry environments is preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
• Ability to operate effectively on-site within dynamic operational settings and work collaboratively across multicultural, multidisciplinary teams.
