About the Role

This role is focused on identifying, launching, and scaling new products at very high speed. The Entrepreneur in Residence will take ownership of ambitious projects end to end, covering business strategy, product development, and go-to-market planning and execution.

The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial operator who has built products from the ground up and wants to do so again in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

• Create a new product opportunity from the ground up, or lead the revival of an existing product that is not performing well.
• Take responsibility for the product’s full P&L, including strategy, revenue model, growth, and ongoing optimisation.
• Guide the product through its entire lifecycle, from idea generation and design to development, launch, scale, and maintenance.
• Set high standards for the team by hiring strong talent, defining goals and roadmaps, and running regular one-to-one check-ins.
• Work closely with teams across Design, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and FinCrime to deliver new initiatives effectively.

What You’ll Need

• A STEM degree, or another highly quantitative degree, from a top-tier university.
• At least 4 years’ experience in a fast-paced setting such as a high-growth tech startup, leading strategy consulting firm, investment bank, or a comparable environment.
• At least 2 years of startup experience as a founder or co-founder.
• Direct, practical experience building and launching digital or technology products from zero in areas such as product, engineering, strategy, or operations.
• A proven record of recruiting and managing a team of 10 or more people.
• Strong analytical ability and structured problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience securing startup funding from a recognised PE/VC investor, or admission to Y Combinator.
• A master’s degree from a top-tier university.
• Practical coding experience in SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience in financial services, or at least a strong interest in the sector.
