Role overview

This leadership role is focused on driving international expansion, building enterprise-level client relationships, and managing sales performance across the team. The position requires a strong mix of new-business development, strategic account growth, commercial ownership, and people leadership.

Key responsibilities

  • Grow the business in international markets and open new commercial opportunities.
  • Spot and convert business development opportunities while bringing in new customers.
  • Increase revenue from existing clients while also broadening the customer base.
  • Design and execute short-term and long-term sales plans and take ownership of the allocated budget.
  • Represent the company at conferences, meetings, and other industry events.
  • Create proposals and quotations, and organize meetings with prospective clients.
  • Improve and streamline internal sales processes.
  • Identify core business strengths and align them with customer needs.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts.
  • Make sure signed deals protect the margin and budget required for proper delivery.
  • Lead the Sales Department and ensure team objectives and growth targets are achieved.
  • Track team activity and provide coaching, direction, and support where needed.
  • Train sales staff and strengthen their selling, negotiation, and service knowledge.
  • Monitor sales KPIs and adapt team efforts based on market conditions.
  • Share performance updates and results with the board.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with top-tier eCommerce agencies is required.
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, including enterprise accounts.
  • Strong exposure to eCommerce, digital commerce, marketplaces, or retail media.
  • Proven success in winning and growing large international clients in FMCG, retail, or consumer brands.
  • Background in selling complex, data-led offerings such as eCommerce services, content, SEO, SaaS, or analytics.
  • Clear understanding of the full eCommerce ecosystem, including marketplaces, eRetail, product content, and digital shelf.
  • Experience handling international, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and negotiating at C-level.
  • Ability to develop long-term strategic partnerships with clients.
  • Experience building and leading strong sales teams.
  • Commercially minded with a strong focus on revenue, margin, and KPI performance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency at C1 level or above.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
