Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and provide sales/service support to business banking clients, aiming to open enterprise banking accounts aligned with recruitment policies.
  • Participate actively in product campaigns, communicating product benefits and striving to surpass sales goals.
  • Expand portfolio profitability by uncovering new client potentials and promoting suitable banking products and solutions proactively or reactively.
  • Initiate and process credit applications adhering to SME lending guidelines and ensure transparent communication of lending decisions and alternative solutions.
  • Conduct purposeful client meetings with clear objectives and outcomes, maintaining personal sales performance records for management reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with branch personnel to facilitate customer referrals for products requiring specialized advice.
  • Handle account opening operations accurately and liaise with branch management for processing.
  • Perform financial analyses for loan sales, counsel clients regarding application outcomes, and escalate denials appropriately.
  • Manage customer communications post-account opening, including welcome materials dispatch.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints efficiently, escalating unresolved issues to branch leadership.
  • Coordinate with internal service teams to ensure swift resolution of escalated concerns.
  • Guide customers to suitable banking channels and notify them of available banking resources such as cheque books and cards.
  • Support branch operations by assisting personal banking customers when required, oversee cashier till procedures, authorize transactions beyond teller limits, and manage cash custody activities.
  • Maintain rigorous operational discipline ensuring all documentation and processes are compliant with KYC, anti-money laundering, and internal policies.
  • Contribute to audit readiness through diligent adherence to procedural standards and perform spot checks as needed.
  • Assume other duties as assigned by the bank.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Trading, or related fields preferred.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in similar banking roles.
  • Mandatory Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce, and Management Studies.
