Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is being advertised for a partner employer, which will handle applications and the remaining hiring steps. The hiring company is seeking an Enterprise Account Director located in Germany.

You will own a strategic enterprise sales remit focused on building a high-value customer portfolio across major European markets. The role centers on winning new business with large organizations, developing long-term executive relationships, and supporting customers in improving the performance, visibility, and reliability of business-critical digital infrastructure.

Working alongside senior leadership, you will help shape market strategy, influence expansion plans, and contribute directly to revenue growth. The position blends new business development, consultative selling, and strategic account leadership, with a strong focus on net-new acquisition rather than managing an existing territory.

Success in this role requires a proactive approach, solid technical awareness, and the ability to communicate effectively with both commercial and technical stakeholders. It is well suited to a strong sales performer who wants to make a meaningful impact in a fast-growing market.

Key accountabilities

  • Expand a portfolio of enterprise customers across Europe by identifying, progressing, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Create and maintain a healthy pipeline through targeted prospecting, strategic relationship-building, and consultative sales conversations.
  • Run complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, including executives and technical decision-makers, from first contact to contract signing.
  • Build durable enterprise relationships and position solutions as strategic tools that strengthen operational performance and business growth.
  • Partner with Managed Service Providers and other strategic allies to accelerate enterprise deals and broaden market access.
  • Understand customer pain points and map tailored technology offerings to their business goals and infrastructure requirements.
  • Work closely with internal leaders and cross-functional teams to refine go-to-market plans, sales messaging, and customer engagement tactics.
  • Develop repeatable sales approaches for priority sectors while feeding market insight into future product and commercial planning.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of enterprise sales experience, with a strong record of selling complex SaaS, networking, cloud infrastructure, or other enterprise technology solutions.
  • Proven ability to win high-value enterprise contracts and create new business in competitive markets.
  • Hands-on experience managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pipeline creation, negotiation, and closure.
  • Confidence engaging both senior business leaders and technical audiences such as architects, infrastructure specialists, and operations teams.
  • Good understanding of enterprise networking, application performance, traffic visibility, or infrastructure observability.
  • Experience selling across European markets, with an existing professional network in areas such as DACH, the Nordics, the UK, or Central and Eastern Europe.
  • Experience working with Managed Service Providers as part of enterprise sales efforts.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build new markets and work independently.

Benefits

  • Competitive fixed salary with an attractive performance-linked incentive plan.
  • A flexible working setup that supports autonomy and strong performance.
  • The chance to lead and shape enterprise growth across important European markets.
  • Clear progression opportunities within a rapidly scaling organization.
  • A broad benefits package that supports health and well-being.
  • Close exposure to senior leadership, with strong visibility and strategic input.
  • Exposure to innovative technologies in AI infrastructure, enterprise networking, and digital transformation.
