Position Summary

The English (US) Audio Quality Assurance Annotation Specialist will work remotely within the United States to assess and validate audio recordings in American English. This role ensures recordings meet stringent standards crucial for AI speech recognition and annotation projects, contributing to multilingual AI development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess English (US) audio samples for pronunciation accuracy, speech fluency, clarity, and overall quality.
• Confirm annotations are accurate and recordings adhere strictly to project-specific guidelines and quality benchmarks.
• Detect problems related to audio quality, such as background noise, recording faults, pronunciation mistakes, and technical errors.
• Deliver organized quality feedback and suggest improvements for recordings that fall short of quality requirements.
• Maintain consistency in annotated datasets by strictly following QA protocols and assessment standards.
• Work collaboratively with project reviewers and annotation personnel to uphold high-quality datasets in multiple languages.
• Document evaluation results and QA findings precisely.
• Contribute to ongoing enhancement of AI speech recognition models by validating high-quality audio data.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in American English with outstanding listening skills and pronunciation knowledge.
• At least one year of experience in audio quality assurance, annotation, localization, audio transcription review, voice-over, dubbing, ADR, or comparable language quality fields.
• Keen eye for details to accurately identify issues related to pronunciation, fluency, and audio excellence.
• Deep understanding of American English linguistic features, including regional dialects, grammar, and natural speech behavior.
• Experience in consistently applying quality standards when reviewing audio content.
• Preferably familiar with audio editing or playback software.
• Strong analytical capabilities to provide clear, actionable feedback on quality.
• Self-motivated and able to adhere to deadlines and quality objectives independently.
