English Teacher for Grades 7–10

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled English teacher to educate students from Grades 7 to 10 at our learning center in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The ideal candidate should be adept in English grammar and literature and capable of creating an interactive, confidence-building learning environment that enhances students' abilities in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver English Language and Literature lessons aligned with the set curriculum for Grades 7–10.
• Enhance students' grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Design and execute engaging, concept-driven classroom sessions using innovative teaching approaches.
• Prepare lesson plans, educational resources, assignments, tests, and evaluation materials.
• Administer regular class tests, assess student work, and provide constructive feedback promptly.
• Identify student learning challenges and offer remedial support through dedicated doubt-clearing sessions.
• Encourage participation in debates, presentations, creative writing, and other language-focused activities.
• Track academic progress and communicate effectively with parents during Parent-Teacher Meetings.
• Maintain discipline and cultivate a supportive and positive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with academic leadership and colleagues to elevate teaching quality.
• Contribute to academic events, workshops, seminars, and admission efforts as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in English or a relevant discipline.
• B.Ed. qualification preferred but not mandatory.
• Possesses 2 to 5 years of teaching experience with Grades 7–10; exemplary fresh graduates may also apply.

• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Deep understanding of English grammar, literature, and writing techniques.
• Effective classroom management and ability to engage students.
• Capability to simplify complex topics and inspire learners.
• Proficiency in digital teaching aids such as Smart Boards and PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and time management.

Desired Attributes

• Experience teaching CBSE or State Board syllabi.
• Background in coaching institutes or foundation level programs.
• Skills in preparing students for Olympiads, scholarship examinations, and competitive English tests.
