About the Role
eDataBae invites native English speakers based in New Zealand to participate in an AI-driven audio data collection project. This assignment involves recording authentic group conversations to help develop voice recognition technology.
Who Can Participate
- Individuals who are native English speakers residing in New Zealand
- Ability to form a group with between two and four people for conversation
- Comfort in engaging in natural English group discussions on everyday subjects
- Possession of an iPhone 12 or a later model
- Familiarity with using the Voice Memos application for recordings
- Willingness to complete necessary consent and eligibility steps after being shortlisted
Group Composition
Groups must consist of:
- 2 participants
- 3 participants
- 4 participants
Conversation Themes
Discussion topics should revolve around daily life, including travel, food, hobbies, technology, work, entertainment, sports, family, lifestyle, and other similar day-to-day subjects.
Recording Instructions
- Conversations must be spontaneous and unscripted
- All group members should contribute actively to the discussion
- Each speaker must articulate clearly
- Recordings should take place in a quiet environment to ensure clarity
- Detailed recording guidelines will be provided post-shortlisting
