About the Opportunity
eDataBae invites native English speakers residing in South Africa to contribute to an AI audio data collection project. Selected candidates will engage in recording natural group conversations to support the development of AI technologies.
Participant Requirements
- Must be a native English speaker living in South Africa.
- Capable of participating with one to three additional individuals in the group.
- Comfortable engaging in natural, unscripted English conversations.
- Must have access to an iPhone 12 or a newer model.
- Ability to use the Voice Memos app to record conversations.
- Willingness to undergo consent and eligibility verification after selection.
Group Participation Details
- Conversation groups can include 2, 3, or 4 participants.
Conversation Topics
Discussions will focus on everyday themes such as daily life, travel, cuisine, hobbies, technology, workplace topics, entertainment, sports, family, and lifestyle.
Recording Instructions
- Conversations must be natural with no scripted dialogue.
- All members should actively engage in the discussion.
- Each participant needs to speak clearly.
- Recordings must take place in a quiet setting.
- Specific recording protocols will be provided once shortlisted.
