Role Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary work packages across marine infrastructure, structural works, earthworks, utilities, and multi-phased civil construction.
- Lead planning, methodology development, and day-to-day site management activities.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and critical project interface points.
- Ensure high standards in safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
- Develop construction schedules and track project progress.
- Monitor budgets, perform forecasting, and assist in achieving desired commercial outcomes.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to team development.
- Engage effectively with clients, consultants, Indigenous Māori partners (iwi), and community stakeholders.
- Play an integral part in a project that aims to bolster national infrastructure resilience and connectivity.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in civil, marine, structural engineering, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and inclusive approach in teamwork.

- Holds recognized engineering qualifications.
