Role Overview
As an Employment Consultant based in Morwell, you will handle a substantial caseload of job seekers, proactively engaging with those ready to work to secure long-term employment. Your role includes reverse marketing to employers, diagnosing and addressing obstacles to employment readiness, and leading motivational group sessions that prepare participants for workforce re-entry. You will equip individuals with the necessary skills and confidence to succeed, utilizing your problem-solving abilities and resilience to maximize positive employment outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in case management.
- Strong capacity to overcome objections and dismantle barriers faced by the unemployed.
- Self-driven, reliable, and motivated to achieve impactful results.
- Experienced in facilitating group training and information sessions.
- Agile thinker able to adapt quickly within dynamic, challenging environments.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding key performance indicators and business targets.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office suite.
Additional Requirements and Information
Work experience in Employment Services is highly regarded; however, backgrounds in retail, recruitment, or other fast-paced, results-oriented service industries will also be considered. Holders of a current Working with Children Check or equivalent state clearance are required. Candidates will undergo a police check, though a clean criminal record is not mandatory.
