Role Overview
Based at the Preston location, this position involves supporting participants of the Workforce Australia program in overcoming barriers and transitioning effectively into employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a substantial caseload of job seekers.
- Engage actively with candidates who are ready for work to achieve sustainable employment outcomes, including employer reverse marketing.
- Identify and address obstacles that prevent job readiness.
- Equip participants with necessary skills and confidence to enter the workforce.
- Utilize problem-solving capabilities and resilience to maximize employment success rates.
Candidate Attributes and Qualifications
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to produce meaningful results and solve problems.
- Flexible thinker capable of adapting to challenging and evolving situations.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding business KPIs and targets.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite.
Previous industry-specific experience is not a requirement. Successful candidates often come from customer-facing backgrounds such as retail or hospitality, bringing valuable mentoring skills.
