Role overview
MatchWorks is seeking an Employment Consultant to support Workforce Australia Employment Services in Kwinana, Western Australia, on Wajuk Noongar Country. This is a full-time ongoing position based onsite, working Monday to Friday. The role is designed to help job seekers and employers connect through tailored employment support that delivers meaningful, long-term outcomes.
The position offers a salary of $65,957 to $72,000 plus superannuation and not-for-profit salary packaging benefits. Additional leave and wellbeing benefits are included, along with access to a range of staff discounts and support programs.

What the role involves
- Understand each participant’s capabilities and career goals, then guide them toward suitable job opportunities.
- Develop individualised employment and career plans, while coaching people to strengthen their job readiness and confidence.
- Connect participants with training, health, and community services that support lasting employment outcomes.
- Grow and maintain local relationships that help create more opportunities for job seekers.
What you need to bring
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships.
- Good organisational ability and the capacity to manage multiple priorities, records, plans, and deadlines.
- A collaborative approach, with experience working effectively with employers, colleagues, and community partners.
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate are required; guidance will be provided through the process.
Preferred background
- Experience in customer service, recruitment, or employment consultancy is an advantage.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and case management systems is desirable.
