Position Overview
This permanent full-time role is based in North Dublin, requiring a hybrid work pattern with two days onsite weekly. The Employee Relations Specialist will be pivotal in delivering expert support across various employee relations matters within the organization, collaborating closely with management to ensure fair, consistent, and commercially sound resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all employee relations cases from start to resolution while meeting service level agreements.
- Offer expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and Irish labor laws.
- Coach and assist managers in managing employee and performance-related issues effectively.
- Oversee workplace disputes, mediation efforts, and WRC case proceedings.
- Track and analyze employee relations trends to provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders and HR colleagues.
- Participate in employee relations initiatives, policy formulation, and programs promoting employee well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record in employee relations within dynamic and fast-moving environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Irish employment legislation and WRC processes.
- Willingness and flexibility to attend WRC hearings and relevant meetings when necessary.
- Expertise in managing complex employee and industrial relations cases, including engagement with trade unions.
- Excellent communication abilities and adeptness at managing stakeholder relationships.
- Pragmatic and solution-focused mindset with sound judgment and commercial insight.
