Role overview

A global, market-leading organisation is looking to bring in an experienced Employee Relations Investigator for an initial four-month contract. This position offers the chance to join a high-performing international Employee Relations function and support complex workplace cases across the EMEA and APAC regions.

The role suits an experienced Employee Relations professional who is comfortable handling sensitive investigations, working with senior stakeholders, and thriving in a fast-moving multinational environment.

Location: Dublin, with a hybrid or fully remote working arrangement.

What you will do

  • Take ownership of workplace investigations from start to finish, covering complex employee relations matters such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace concerns.
  • Interview relevant parties, collect and evaluate evidence, and document balanced findings and recommendations.
  • Support and coach HR Business Partners on investigations and escalated employee relations matters.
  • Make sure investigations follow internal policies, employment legislation, and accepted HR best practice.
  • Work alongside Legal, HR, and business leaders to assess risk and suggest corrective action and wider organisational improvements.
  • Keep case records and reporting accurate, while also spotting themes and trends where relevant.
  • Contribute to regional and global Employee Relations initiatives and projects when needed.

Experience and background

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least five years of experience handling Employee Relations investigations or comparable complex workplace cases.
  • Strong practical exposure to performance management, conduct issues, and employee relations matters.
  • Ability to independently manage sensitive cases from the first review through to final resolution.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of building trust and influencing people at different levels.
  • Experience supporting Employee Relations work across multiple countries, particularly within EMEA and/or APAC.
  • Good understanding of employment law principles and HR compliance in international settings.
  • Experience working closely with Legal teams and senior business leaders.
  • Comfort working in environments that are changing quickly and can be ambiguous.
  • Strong judgement, discretion, and a practical approach to resolving workplace issues.
