Role Overview
The Employee Relations Investigator plays an essential role in strengthening Radial’s people-centric culture across its fulfillment network. This position involves partnering with HR, Legal, and site leadership to handle employee concerns efficiently, ensuring investigations are thorough, fair, and consistent. The focus is on enhancing operational leader effectiveness and building trust throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead investigative processes related to employee complaints, workplace issues, and policy infringements across multiple fulfillment locations.
- Collaborate with Legal, Safety and Security, and HR teams to guarantee investigations comply with company policies and core values.
- Offer guidance and training to site leaders and HR partners aimed at minimizing employee relations issues and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Analyze patterns of employee concerns to propose proactive strategies that reduce risk and boost the overall employee experience.
- Contribute to ongoing enhancements of employee relations procedures and documentation standards.
- Engage in cross-functional projects to promote HR alignment and improve operational outcomes.
- Provide network-wide support for escalated employee relations matters as required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in employee relations, investigations, or labor relations.
- Preferred background includes logistics, manufacturing, or high-volume operational environments, with union experience considered a plus.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation such as FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and NLRA.
- Demonstrated capability to lead sophisticated investigations and provide impartial, well-documented conclusions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing and building trust at all organizational levels.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with aptitude to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms, preference for Workday experience.
Travel and Location
- This is a remote position with minimal travel obligations, estimated at 15%.
