Overview

A partner company based in Ireland is seeking a skilled Email Marketing Manager to lead lifecycle marketing strategies that bolster customer relationships and drive sustainable growth for a rapidly expanding consumer brand. This role integrates strategic planning, data analytics, and creative storytelling to enhance customer engagement and lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee comprehensive email and SMS marketing strategies, including campaign scheduling, automation workflows, and lifecycle communications.
  • Create and optimize personalized customer journeys targeting various lifecycle phases such as welcome sequences, browse/cart abandonment, post-purchase follow-ups, cross-sell/upsell, subscription engagement, winback, and re-engagement flows.
  • Manage SMS marketing initiatives and continually enhance customer engagement and conversion outcomes.
  • Develop retention programs focusing on fostering repeat purchases, subscription adoption, customer loyalty, and increasing lifetime value.
  • Implement advanced customer segmentation and personalization based on behaviors, lifecycle status, and interaction patterns.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce compelling content for emails and SMS that educates, motivates, and converts customers.
  • Lead experimentation programs testing subject lines, messaging, offers, timing, segmentation, creative elements, landing pages, and product recommendations.
  • Analyze lifecycle campaign metrics, customer behavior data, and retention KPIs to uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Create detailed reporting dashboards and communicate insights to stakeholders to improve marketing effectiveness and customer experience.
  • Work in close partnership with growth marketing, product, customer experience, CRO, creative, and leadership teams to ensure seamless and impactful customer interactions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum three years of practical experience in lifecycle, email, or retention marketing roles.
  • Proficiency with Klaviyo for managing campaigns, segmentation, and automation tools.
  • Experience handling SMS marketing programs; familiarity with Postscript platform is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of lifecycle marketing concepts, customer segmentation, personalization techniques, and retention strategies.
  • Ability to design, implement, and refine automated marketing workflows effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting retention data and customer behavior insights.
  • Competence in conducting and analyzing A/B tests to enhance marketing outcomes.
  • Balance of strategic foresight with hands-on campaign execution capability.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and an understanding of consumer psychology.
  • Experience in sectors such as DTC eCommerce, health, wellness, supplements, beauty, or consumer products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with subscription business models, cohort analysis, attribution, and retention reporting is a plus.
  • Comfortable utilizing AI tools to boost marketing efficiency and creative processes.
