Role Overview
We are seeking Electrical Engineers specializing in Pooling Substations at voltage levels of 400KV, 220KV, and 33KV. The Electrical Quality Engineer will be accountable for upholding and ensuring quality compliance during all phases, including construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover of Extra High Voltage (EHV) substations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of substation equipment to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Witness Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) processes rigorously.
- Manage quality documentation and handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) efficiently.
- Monitor contractor quality to maintain defect-free execution of projects.
- Coordinate actively with utilities, consultants, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors to assure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Proven experience working with 400kV, 220kV, and 33kV substations.
- Strong expertise in electrical testing, commissioning procedures, and quality management systems relevant to substations.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any engineering specialization.
