Role Overview
This position is for an Automobile Technician specializing in electric two-wheelers, responsible for customer interaction, diagnostic evaluation, technical repairs, system handling, and inventory management within the service center.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage professionally with customers, greeting and assisting them courteously.
- Confirm service requests and gather customer feedback diligently.
- Communicate timely updates about repair statuses to customers.
- Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify repair needs for scooters.
- Document diagnostic outcomes accurately in the Workshop Management System.
- Perform and verify vehicle repairs as per customer specifications.
- Track and manage customer complaints promptly using system tools.
- Operate Workshop Management System ensuring compliance with procedures.
- Update operational statuses and estimated time of arrival in CRM and WMS platforms.
- Carry out deep diagnostics of scooter health via Telematics Command Centre.
- Apply detailed knowledge of OLA scooters during repair and replacement tasks.
- Keep current with OLA technical training materials and electric vehicle industry news.
- Follow established processes at the Experience Centre rigorously.
- Manage invoicing and payment collection functions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of service bays.
- Conduct inventory audits ensuring alignment between physical and system records.
- Handle Goods Received Notes (GRN) and inventory management at the Experience Centre.
- Manage warranty part returns and reverse logistics to the main workshop.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing proper uniforms and protective gear while working.
- Use and maintain tool kits and ensure availability of fire-fighting equipment.
Candidate Requirements
- Male candidates only.
- Education level: Minimum 12th pass, diploma, ITI, graduation, or postgraduate qualification.
- At least six months of experience within the automobile service sector is required.
Compensation and Benefits
The monthly salary ranges between 19,000 and 23,000 INR, inclusive of Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), and incentives.
