Job description

Role Overview

Google for Education is dedicated to transforming learning environments using innovative technology such as Workspace for Education, Chromebooks, and Gemini. Within the Education Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations team, this role focuses on managing and enhancing sales acceleration initiatives that support Regional Sales and Channel teams. The primary objective is to drive adoption of Google Education products, increase conversions from free to paid plans, renewals, and hardware refreshes through strategic data-driven actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scale and refine global sales programs to amplify Workspace for Education adoption, paid renewals, and device upgrades.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to develop AI/ML-driven account prospecting tools and automated outreach processes.
  • Coordinate efforts with Regional Sales, Channel, and Marketing teams to streamline Go-to-Market campaigns and sales workflows.
  • Utilize SQL and business intelligence dashboards for data analysis to craft strategies and track program success based on key performance indicators.
  • Engage and build influence with executive leaders at regional and channel levels to facilitate project progression and overcome obstacles.

Candidate Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is mandatory.
  • At least 6 years in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory roles.
  • A minimum of 5 years in business strategy, operations, analytics, program management, or management consulting.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
  • Preferred qualifications include an MBA or master's degree.
  • Experience of 2 years or more in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital media settings is advantageous.
  • Skills in creating complex datasets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with the Education sector is valued.
  • Experience partnering with Data Science and Engineering teams to deploy AI/ML models or automated systems targeted at sales or marketing efforts.

Compensation

Salary range from $152,000 to $222,000 annually, complemented by a 15% bonus target, equity, and comprehensive benefits package.
