eBay Live Events Executive

About the role

eBay is looking for an Events Executive to support its EU Brand team in delivering brand-led eBay Live productions and event activity across Fashion and Collectibles. In this position, you will help turn category strategies into live and online event executions that support audience, brand, and commercial goals.

What you will do

• Plan and schedule eBay Live, brand IRL, and online events from start to finish, working closely with event and brand leads to align each activation with the wider strategy.
• Collaborate with category brand managers to convert category direction into event concepts and eBay Live plans that reflect audience insights and category objectives.
• Own market delivery for brand-led eBay Live activations, including briefing, planning, live execution, and post-campaign analysis to capture lessons learned.
• Coordinate event and production delivery with brand managers, the programming team, and agency partners, including run-of-show planning, technical needs, and support plans.
• Keep events on budget, within scope, and to a high quality standard by tracking forecasts, timelines, and reconciliations.
• Manage external event and production agencies by defining scope, deliverables, and commercial terms, while ensuring they meet creative and production standards.
• Develop, implement, and track measurement approaches for events, assessing reach, engagement, conversion, and brand impact, then using the findings to improve future activity.

What you need to bring

• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a strong focus on creativity and excellent delivery.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Background in events and production.
• Hands-on experience working with agencies, including briefing, coordination, and oversight of delivery.
• Strong project management and organizational ability, with the capacity to manage several streams of work at once.
• Confident communication skills and comfort working across functions in a fast-moving environment.
• Willingness to travel and adjust working hours to support important in-person events.
• German language ability at C2 level and strong English skills.
• Must be based in Dreilinden and able to work from the office three days per week.
