Role Overview
The Seller Success Advisor role sits within the HiPo team and is focused on making the onboarding journey smooth and effective for new sellers. The person in this position will help sellers understand the essentials of selling on eBay, follow best practices, manage catalog uploads, and receive continued support through the early months on the platform so they can perform well, stay compliant, and remain satisfied.
What You’ll Do
- Contact sellers and encourage them to join the program.
- Act as the main contact for sellers through calls, email, and virtual meetings while helping them understand platform tools, policies, and operating processes.
- Support sellers with product listing, inventory setup, and listing improvement, and explain promotions, advertising options, and effective selling practices.
- Track seller engagement and performance indicators to make sure their initial growth stays healthy.
- Spot sellers who are dealing with technical, operational, or performance issues and resolve them promptly or escalate them by working with internal teams.
- Share regular performance updates and practical improvement plans to help sellers grow.
- Carry out periodic check-ins to collect feedback and maintain seller satisfaction.
What You Should Bring
- Experience in account management, client onboarding, customer success, or seller operations, ideally in ecommerce or a marketplace setting.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Good troubleshooting ability and the capacity to handle several tasks at once.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, Excel or Google Sheets, and basic ecommerce tools.
- A service-focused, customer-first approach.
- Ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities efficiently.
- Comfort using data and performance metrics to guide decisions.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions.
Additional Requirements
- Travel is part of the role.
- Minimum 1 year of selling experience is required.
