Role Overview
Eden Academy Thornhill Park is looking for an Early Childhood Teacher who wants a role with real influence, not just classroom routine. This position is based in a carefully designed learning environment where teaching expertise is valued, leadership is accessible, and staff wellbeing is prioritised. The centre offers a premium learning space with abundant natural light and well-maintained resources. It operates from 6:30am to 6:30pm and caters for 112 children, giving you the opportunity to deliver a strong Kindergarten program across excellent indoor and outdoor environments.

Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant is an experienced Early Childhood Teacher who enjoys working in nurturing environments and values purposeful teaching. You should be confident designing thoughtful programs, interacting positively with families and the local community, and presenting yourself in a professional and approachable way.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood, or an equivalent qualification approved by ACECQA.
- At least 3 years of experience as an Early Childhood Teacher in an early learning environment.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Full Australian working rights.
- Polished professional presentation combined with a warm, welcoming manner.
- Confidence and curiosity when engaging with families and the local community.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging Kindergarten programs with care and intent.
- Two professional references, including one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting.
