Our newly established Eden Academy in Mambourin, Victoria, is a nurturing and child-safe environment focused on fostering young minds and hearts. Open daily from 6:30am to 6:30pm, our centre offers a welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of a home, featuring bright, open-plan rooms, natural play settings, and plenty of indoor and outdoor age-appropriate resources. We accommodate up to 112 children, providing a supportive space for exploration, growth, and learning.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking Assistant Educators to join our dedicated team at this brand-new location. At Eden Academy, we view ourselves as not just a childcare provider but a community where educators feel valued, encouraged, and inspired to develop their careers and passions. Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment. You will promote children's independence, curiosity, and resilience, fostering their learning journeys through engaging dialogue and meaningful interactions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA recognized equivalent
• Food Handling Certificate
• Current Working with Children Check
• Knowledge and proficiency in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards
• Legal right to work in Australia
• Professional and presentable personal appearance
• Confidence and enthusiasm to engage with families and the local community
• Two professional references are required, including one from a childcare or education supervisor or manager
