Role Overview

Goodstart Early Learning invites passionate educators to join their team in the North Coast region of New South Wales as Early Childhood Teachers. This full-time permanent role involves delivering high-quality early learning, Kindergarten, and Preschool programs designed to give children an excellent start in life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, intentional teaching practices that foster children’s development and a love of learning.
  • Develop strong, supportive relationships with families to create a nurturing environment where children feel a sense of belonging.
  • Collaborate with the centre leadership to develop, assess, and improve early learning programs ensuring optimal outcomes for children.
  • Mentor and guide educational approaches within the classroom and amongst fellow educators.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming space for children, families, and colleagues.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • Possession of a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education approved by ACECQA.
  • Current registration as a Teacher.
  • Valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certification.
  • Strong familiarity and experience with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Exemplary leadership skills to effectively manage a classroom and collaborate with educators and families in delivering the educational curriculum.
  • Ability to foster reflective practices and continuously improve educational programs by researching and sharing best practices.
