- Launch new products by creating product pages with accurate imagery, descriptions, variants, and strategic merchandising placement that reflects the brand.
- Coordinate with Operations to manage stock levels, identify low or out-of-stock products, and handle sold-out or restock notifications.
- Maintain accurate product data and site structure, including collections, tags, and filters, to enhance product discoverability and user experience.
- Conduct regular quality assurance to detect broken links, layout faults, or merchandising inconsistencies, and oversee their correction.
- Track site performance metrics like conversion rates, bounce rates, and page loading speeds to identify improvement opportunities for the customer journey.
- Assist in planning and executing the eCommerce merchandising calendar alongside the Digital Experience Manager.
- Act as the primary daily liaison with the digital marketing agency managing paid social, paid search, and other performance channels.
- Monitor and report campaign performance versus KPIs, budgets, and goals, alerting teams to potential risks or opportunities.
- Communicate creative asset requirements to the agency and internal teams, ensuring timely campaign launches.
- Maintain the digital marketing calendar to align campaigns with merchandising, promotions, and brand initiatives.
- Support budget oversight and invoice reconciliation for agency and media expenditures.
- Collaborate on testing strategies involving creative content, target audiences, and landing pages to optimize digital marketing results.
- Work closely with Creative to ensure all site and marketing content adheres to brand standards.
- Coordinate with eCommerce and Digital teams for consistent alignment between site merchandising, campaigns, and promotions.
- Liaise with Operations to synchronize product availability with marketing and promotional schedules.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in website merchandising, product setup, or content management specifically within Shopify.
- Experience managing or collaborating with external agencies or vendor partners.
- Understanding of digital marketing channels such as paid social and paid search and their integration with onsite experiences.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with teams like Creative, Operations, and Marketing, managing multiple projects at once.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in eCommerce or digital marketing roles.
- Proficiency with eCommerce tools like Shopify, analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, and project management software such as Asana.
- Strong analytical capabilities to assess data and suggest actionable improvements.
- Comfortable working within CMS platforms, with acute attention to layout, imagery, and brand consistency.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills adaptable to a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Resourceful problem solver, proactive, and attentive to detail.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours during promotional periods and limited vacation availability during peak retail seasons.
