Role Overview
As Duty Manager - Front Office, based at Madinat Jumeirah Resort, you will play a critical role in managing daily front office operations to ensure they reflect the brand’s service excellence and strategic objectives. This position requires starting from September 2026 and entails leading the team, overseeing room management, and ensuring seamless guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee front office and property operations ensuring compliance with Jumeirah’s service standards and strategic goals.
- Conduct room inspections to verify availability and adherence to operational standards.
- Enhance departmental collaboration and service efficiency through coordination of activities.
- Manage booking scenarios including resolving overbooking situations effectively.
- Support VIP guest arrivals and departures, offering guidance to front office teams.
- Monitor and enforce professional behavior and appearance among staff.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services within the department.
- Handle guest complaints, coordinate solutions, report incidents promptly, and manage emergency situations ensuring guest services continuity and adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols.
- Manage staff performance ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Execute additional tasks as delegated by management to maintain operational excellence.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 3 to 5 years’ experience in guest services, public relations, or front office within luxury hospitality.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a related field from a recognized university.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Opera (Cloud) PMS systems.
- Experience working in diverse multicultural team environments.
- Confidence in handling guest complaints ranging in severity with professionalism.
