Job description
Role Overview
This role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Northern Emirates. The driver will facilitate the secure transportation of healthcare personnel and medical supplies between patient residences, health facilities, and assigned service locations. Daily responsibilities include adhering to prescribed routes and timetables, ensuring vehicle cleanliness and maintenance, and conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. The driver must communicate effectively with dispatch and healthcare teams, support patients during boarding and exiting processes, maintain comprehensive trip and delivery logs, provide courteous and professional service, comply with company policies and UAE traffic laws, and adapt to varying operational demands.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven proficiency in truck driving with experience managing trucks safely across urban and inter-emirate routes.
- Ownership of a personal car is required.
- Must hold a valid CDL Class A or an equivalent heavy vehicle license accepted in the UAE, alongside a clean driving history.
- Strong communication abilities to liaise with dispatchers, medical staff, and patients.
- Excellent customer service skills to deliver respectful, patient-focused transportation and professionally address inquiries.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle safety procedures, routine maintenance, and road safety laws.
- Prior experience in healthcare transportation, logistics, or home health services is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work varying hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as dictated by service requirements.
- A minimum education level of high school diploma or its equivalent is essential; proficiency in English is mandatory, with additional regional language skills considered beneficial.
